Network Engineering
Network Engineering is the foremost provider of Internet communication technology for the MSU campus. Responsible for the design and implementation of MSU’s backbone network architecture, Network Engineering provides wired network connections in offices, residence halls, lecture halls, and laboratories, as well as in common meeting areas such as libraries, study lounges, and athletic areas. Network Engineering also provides wireless network access to much of campus, including the south campus farms, to support the mobility of faculty, staff, and students.
Available services
Network Engineering strives to provide emerging network technologies to the university campus and is available for consultation with any MSU unit. If you need to install a new wired connection, repair an existing connection, provide wireless access, or are interested in new network technologies, Network Engineering may be able to help.
